Junior Business Analytic Executive (Contract)

Key Responsibility:

  • Elicit and collect business problems.
  • Investigate and identify the real business problems, and provide data-driven and analytical solutions to such problems. This role may involve in leading management of primary research projects.
  • Apply expertise in quantitative analysis and data visualization to formulate the analytical solutions and explain stories behind numbers.
  • Support on planning and establishing short-term and long-term goals advancing productivity of business analytics as a service for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Accountable for presenting or pitching ideas or solutions, managing analytics projects, and being an analytics expert.
  • Collaborate with team members and/or cross functional teams as required.

Qualification/Requirement:

  • B.A. or B.S. in a field emphasizing on quantitative data analysis and visualization (i.e., Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Sciences, or Statistics), or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-2 years of professional experience, with a background in data-driven business consultation, business analysis, data drilling, quantitative research, and/or digital media analytics.
  • Experience in project management and/or operations.
  • Strongly competent in data drilling, data analytics, and data visualization.
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (or Google Sheet and Google Slide).
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication.

Additional Qualification

  • Experience with Tableau, PowerBI, and/or other BI tools.
  • Knowledge of SQL, R, Python, or a similar programming / scripting language.
  • Experience in researching or making business cases, cross-checking logical fallacies, and/or auditing data discrepancy.
  • Experience in working with media agency, advertising agency, and/or consulting firm.
